A Barry man has been sentenced to 45 months in prison after pleading guilty to drug supply offences at Cardiff Crown Court.
Tommy-Lee Carson, 28, of Holton Road, Barry, was jailed on May 16 following a South Wales Police investigation into his involvement in Class A and B drug dealing operations.
Carson received his main sentence of 45 months for being concerned in the supply of cocaine. Running concurrently with this sentence, he also received six months for possession of an offensive weapon (a zombie knife), 12 months for being concerned in the supply of cannabis, and 12 months for possession with intent to supply cannabis resin.
The case came to light when Cardiff’s Organised Crime Team investigated a drug line linked to Carson’s mobile number. Text messages advertising drugs for sale were discovered on the phone.
A warrant executed at Carson’s home on February 12, 2025, resulted in the seizure of drugs with a street value between £3,640 and £7,280, along with the weapon.
Investigating officer DC Gaby Pughsley said: “Carson’s drug dealing will undoubtedly have impacted the local community and I’m pleased to see this significant sentence. There is zero-tolerance for drug supply on our streets and our organised crime team are committed to identifying and apprehending those involved.” 💪
