Neighbourhood officers patrolling on foot in the Llanrumney area on Monday morning (March 23) spotted an off-road bike being ridden along Ball Lane and the Rhymney River Path.
When an officer moved to challenge the rider, they fled the scene – prompting a foot chase that ended with a suspect being detained. 🚔
A search uncovered 31 wraps of crack cocaine, four bags of cannabis and three mobile phones.
A scrambler motorbike, e-bike and e-scooter were also seized as part of the investigation.
Harlee Bindon, 18, from Llanrumney, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis, driving without a licence and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
Bindon appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 25, and has been released on conditional bail ahead of a further hearing at Cardiff Crown Court next month.
