Man guilty of fighting dog offences over XL Bullies

A Caerphilly man has admitted to offences involving two XL Bully dogs after appearing before magistrates.

Lee Conway, 37, from Gwaun Newydd in Lansbury Park, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession and custody of fighting dogs when he appeared at Newport Magistrates’ Court.

The charges related to two XL Bullies named Ocean and River, with the offences taking place on 16th June last year.

Conway received a 12-month conditional discharge for the offences. He was also ordered to pay £111 to cover costs and a surcharge.

Magistrates imposed contingent destruction orders for both Ocean and River.
