London man jailed for £865 TK Maxx theft in Cwmbran

A London man has been jailed for six months after stealing £865 worth of clothes from TK Maxx in Cwmbran.

Paul Kewley, 38, of Medhurst Drive, Bromley, was caught red-handed at the store on Sunday, October 5.

The defendant appeared at Newport Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to theft and obstructing PC Aaron Richards in the execution of his duty.

Kewley also admitted being in breach of a suspended prison sentence.

District Judge Sophie Toms sentenced him to six months imprisonment.
