Teen Charged Over Aberdare Bomb Hoax and Menacing Messages

A 15-year-old boy has been charged following incidents in Aberdare over the weekend 📱⚖️

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces three charges:

• Communicating false information in the form of a bomb hoax
• Sending by public communication network a menacing message
• Persistently making use of public communication network to cause annoyance/inconvenience

The charges relate to offences committed in Aberdare on Saturday, June 14.

The boy has been released on conditional bail and will appear at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court for sentencing on July 16.
