A 28-year-old man has been sentenced after exposing himself to members of the public while sitting in his car in Caerphilly.

Sean Davies, of Clos Nant Yr Aber, Energlyn, Caerphilly, was found guilty following a trial of outraging public decency on April 3 last year.

The court heard he had been “behaving in an indecent manner, namely sitting in your car with your penis exposed and in your hand where members of the public could and did see you”.

Davies also admitted a separate charge of outraging public decency by flashing on June 11, 2024. Both offences took place in Caerphilly.

Prosecutor Jessica Goddard-Taylor outlined the case at Newport Magistrates’ Court.

Davies was handed a 12-month community order and must carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £650 in costs.
