A search of the address located several bags of white powder, confirmed to be cocaine and ketamine, along with paraphernalia consistent with drug supply including several ‘burner’ mobile phones and digital weighing scales.
The charges included:
- Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine
- Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – Ketamine
- Concerned in supply of cocaine
- Concerned in the supply ketamine
Jones pleaded guilty to all offences on 1 August at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court.
Investigating officer PC David Coles of the Organised Crime Unit said: “The possession and supply of drugs not only has a significant negative impact on those in the community; it also often exploits young and vulnerable people. I’m pleased to see this sentence handed down and hopes it gives Jones some time to reflect on his actions.”
