Two men have been sentenced after being caught dealing drugs in Swansea city centre. Alex Amanuel, 30, from Nottingham, and Hakim Collace, 26, from Loughborough, were arrested following police surveillance on Matthew Street.
The pair had travelled from Nottingham to South Wales in what investigators confirmed was a county lines operation. 💊
Amanuel received a prison sentence of three years and eight months, while Collace was sentenced to three years for being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin.
Detective Sergeant Luke Tucker said: “With this sentence, two individuals involved in an illegal drug trade which brings misery to countless people in their community will be behind bars for a number of years.
“Those who are involved in supplying illegal substances care nothing for the wellbeing of those they sell to. They only care about their own profit.
“Drug dealing does not pay. You will be identified, and you will be brought to justice.”
